With Escal’arbre, you change point of view and climb back up the tree! How? Thanks to a sequence of climbing holds fixed around the tree trunk by a system of webbing straps.
As you climb, a self-belay mechanism prevents falls and allows you to abseil back down once you reach the top.
The technique is the same as with traditional climbing. Only the support is different: instead of a wall, you are climbing a living organism! But don’t worry about the tree: no nails, no screws, the ingenious design allows the feature to be installed without damaging the tree’s bark.
