SHOW YOUR TRUE COLOURS!

Start with an easy course – yellow or green – to familiarise yourself with the different features (ladders, monkey bridges, nets, walkways, wobbly logs) and the zip wires (fixing the roller to the cable, attaching the karabiners before leaping into the unknown).

When you tackle your first obstacles, even close to the ground, you may find the unfamiliar perspective unnerving. Relax – and enjoy the thrill! Thirty to forty-five minutes later, you’ll be back on solid ground, ready for a new adventure.

Already know the ropes? Then skip the beginner courses and make straight for the blue routes. This is where things get serious! The tension’s rising, you can feel your heart pumping. The sky’s the limit!

Up the ante

The courses marked red (the colour of danger) demand concentration, technique and physical strength. Beware: the features have an annoying habit of moving out of reach as you approach. Nothing stays in place, everything seems to swing, sway and wobble. You’ll need a level head and a sure foot. Reckon you’re up for it?

Watch out: the black courses are reserved for experts and acrobats. These daredevil challenges are located in the highest and remotest parts of the forest. To get there, you have to negotiate vertical climbs of many metres, edge along swinging logs, balance on rickety ladders and overcome obstacles just with the strength of your arms. As for the tree platforms that give you a chance to get your breath back, you’ll find that they are nothing more than a tiny foothold. But no matter – you’re now king of the jungle!
